I studied guitar making in Totnes England, at the Totnes School of guitar making which gave me the foundations of guitar design, engineering and craftsmanship.  Studying violin making with master violin maker Jonathan Cooper further refined my woodworking skills and understanding of wood.  I went on to finish my college education and received a bachelors degree in fine arts.  These three educational experiences are the foundations for my skill set that I apply to my work.  I have been building upon this in my own way in my own shop.
